Why walk?

Every Kiltwalker has a reason for taking part, and in 2026 that collective spirit saw 38,000 people lace up their walking shoes and raise an incredible £8.5 million for 1,880 charities across Scotland.

Together, they proved that every mile matters, turning determination, compassion and community spirit into life-changing support for people who need it most.
