The charities will work together to help ensure that children and young people receive wraparound support when someone in the family or friend circle is living with advanced cancer.
The collaboration comes at a time when it is estimated that more than 100 children in the UK are bereaved of a parent every day*, and countless more young people are coping with the death of a sibling, grandparent, friend, or another significant individual in their lives.
As part of the partnership, the charities will ensure that people needing specialised support know what is available to them by signposting to each other's services.
Since 1996, 夜色直播 has been providing expert support for anyone facing a cancer diagnosis, and their family and friends.
This support for the entire family includes:
The professional one-to-one and group support is provided in purpose-built 夜色直播 centres across the UK. Each centre is unique, yet equally warm and welcoming, designed to complement and enhance the care being provided.
supports grieving young people up to the age of 25. They offering a range of services designed to support children 12 and younger to explore grief through arts and play, such as creative therapy.
The charity also provides special support and content designed for 13鈥25 year olds on the charity鈥檚 website, which includes real life stories and articles regarding what it鈥檚 like to grow up with grief.
Winston's Wish's podcast, , features interviews from the charity鈥檚 Youth Ambassador Team of young people with lived experiences of grief.
